About Vicky Colas

“For as long as I can remember I have used food as away of showing my love.” Cooking for friends and family since the age of twelve, she knew this would be her chosen career. Her love affair with the culinary arts led her to pursue her dream and attend Le Cordon Bleu School of Culinary Arts. While at Le Cordon Bleu, she participated in food and wine festivals, refining her skills for complimentary herbs and spices, enabling her to create entrées for every palate. Loading her recipe book with details for savory sauces and succulent meats. Her goal is to make sure every client receives a treat for the senses through her art. She is constantly improving her skills to become a better chef for her clients.

She attended Florida International University and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Hospitality and Restaurant Management. While at FIU, she participated in the South Beach Wine & Food Festival, gaining remarkable perspective and training from Food Network professionals. She spend hours in her kitchen developing and preparing the creations that come to her; it is truly a labor of love. “I love the aromas and warmth that come from a kitchen while preparing food.”

She founded A Unique Taste Personal Chef and Culinary Services because of her passion for food. “Food not only sustains our bodies, it nourishes our souls.”  She wants to share her talent with you by creating menus that will stir the senses and appease your hunger for good food! She has been serving clients for 10+ years in various capacities involving food service. She is a member of the United States Personal Chef Association (USPCA). She serves a range of people in her business. “I make my schedule for you to enjoy the foods you love most without all the need for preparation on your part.” Many of her clients include:
